Paul V., founder of PSV LAW, and his team of agents have offices and can be contacted in downtown Toronto, Yorkville, in the penthouse of the Hudson's Bay Centre, and uptown in the prestigious Transamerica Tower. They are fluent in English, French and Romanian, and other languages on demand. They have regularly appeared in courtrooms across the province outside of the GTA, from the Niagara and London regions in western Ontario, to the Barrie and the surrounding areas in central Ontario, and as far as Kingston and the Ottawa regions in eastern Ontario as well.

Paul has been involved in multiple high-profile criminal cases, and dozens of Project Claudia related charges, including the recent Toronto Police raids on the Medical Marijuana dispensaries (in which he secured many withdrawals for his clients), as well R. v. Ariaratnam, 2012 ONSC 3800, a second-degree murder case in Toronto's Entertainment District, and other cases such as impaired driving causing death. Paul has also successfully represented clients arrested by the Toronto Police Major Crimes Task Force and ETF/SWAT teams in major drug raids, succeeding in having their drug trafficking charges fully withdrawn. He has been previously interviewed by the CBC regarding policy changes at the Community Legal Aid clinic on the topic of domestic assault cases, as well as by 680 News and CityNews for the police drug raids that swept Toronto in the summer of 2016. As one of the many causes he fights for, Paul V. offers significantly reduced fees and pro-bono work to marijuana dispensary employees charged in the Toronto Police raids. Through his representations of dozens of marijuana dispensary related matters and for diligently standing up for the constitutional rights of his clients as a drug defence lawyer, Paul has also earned mentions on the Cannabis Life Network. Paul was also recently interviewed by many news outlets on the hostage-situation-turned-hoax at a cannabis dispensary downtown, causing massive traffic chaos and shutting down a large part of downtown Toronto for most of the day with the high risk Toronto Police Emergency Task Force (ETF/SWAT) responding.

His legal work has received accolades and is published by the Ontario Bar Association with a co-authored publication with the Honourable Justice Wong at the 2014 OBA Institute Continuing Professional Development Seminar for lawyers on Family Law: Issues for Today, Preparing for Tomorrow, titled Retroactive Child Support Since D.B.S. v. S.R.G., available for purchase from the OBA publications store (ISBN: 987-1-77060-251-9). This was presented by the Honourable Justice Wong as a member of a panel comprised of leading practitioners and judges, including Supreme Court of Canada Justice Thomas Cromwell, and is available for viewing at the Osgoode Hall Law School Library

As part of his extensive legal experience he has provided legal services to those with limited financial means at Community Legal Aid for three years, has been politically active through legislative drafting for the Ontario Liberal Party, and has also worked alongside a Specialist in criminal litigation with over forty years of practice. Paul's expertise in criminal law encompasses many Impaired Driving (DUI) cases, Charter of Rights and Freedoms constitutional litigation, identity evidence based criminal cases, multiple Controlled Drug and Substances Act Projects with numerous accused, search warrants, fraud, criminal negligence, assaults & domestic assaults, sexual assaults, regulatory & white collar (quasi-criminal) offences, and more. In order to help shape the young minds of tomorrow, Paul V. has been a part of the Osgoode Cup as a Judge, a national competitive mock trial & undergraduate moot. As part of his community outreach through the Ontario Bar Association (OBA), Paul has previously judged and now sits on the Competitive Mock Trial Organizing Committee for the non-profit Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN), that recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary and is partnered with the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and more.

Qualified and licensed by the Law Society of Ontario (formerly: Law Society of Upper Canada) to appear as counsel before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, Paul practices throughout Ontario, primarily in Toronto, North York, Newmarket, Markham, Scarborough, Oshawa, Brampton, and Milton. He has also successfully defended many clients in the multiple surrounding areas outside of the GTA as well. He vigorously represents his clients, from the very affluent to the impecunious.
